Sonic Adventure 2: Heroes Vs Villains - Ch. 7

Meanwhile with the villains, Shadow was on the other side of the island while Rascal was at the back of one of the base, well more like between them. The goat soon contacts Shadow, "Well, I'm at my pinpoint... What about you?"

Shadow answers, "I'm in position as well."

Rascal then asks him, "...Aren't you worry about that tiger girl? I mean, she is on this island as well."

"...I don't care about that tiger... Just focus on the mission." He answered. It sounded like he took a moment to answer.

"Well, fine... Besides, I have a feeling those heroes' allies are here to recused them." Rascal said. "Contact the doctor at once, Shadow."

She then hears Shadow speaking to Dr. Eggman, "We're in position, doctor. Tell us when."

Then Eggman answers, "There's been an unexpected delay on my and Caper's end. There's no more time to waste. Set the timer for 15 minutes! Let's go Rouge and Haze!"

Rascal turns off her transmitters, "Well, so much for getting away with no problems... Rouge and Haze should be able to find those emeralds with no problem at all." as she set the timer on the wall and sets it for 15 minutes.

She suddenly spots something went pass by the bases really fast and it headed towards where Rouge and Haze are. It looked orange...

"Was that...? ...Sparklie..." Rascal growled. "It seem the heroes had escape just in time. I've better stop her before she get to Haze and Rouge." and with that, the goat steps out and attacks Sparklie from behind. "Needle Ice!"

The ice attacks went over Sparklie's head and lands in front of her, making the tiger skid to a stop. Sparklie turns around to see Rascal, "...I knew you would be here since Amy said something about a goat." having her hands on her hips.

Rascal humphs, "You should've stay out of this, tiger girl! It doesn't concerns you at all!"

"Sorry, but it does! I can't believe you and your teammates are working for Dr. Eggman! Don't you know what you're getting yourself into?!" Sparkle shouted.

"Look! Everything will go just fine if you just left this island!" Rascal shouted. "And if you interfere with us, I'll just have to stop you!" She raises her left arm up, "Frostiness Blade!" then her arm forms into sword like made of ice. "Come on!"

Sparklie clenches her fists, "Fine then... You ask for it! Electric Spheres!" then shoot out her electric attack at Rascal.

The goat quickly dodges to the side before the attack could get to her then leaps in the air. "Take this!" She yelled as she falls towards Sparklie, pointing her icy sword at the tiger.

Sparklie quickly did a back flip three times before Rascal could touch her.

Rascal's icy sword went into the ground, getting stuck. "Huh?! Dang it all!" Rascal shouted, trying to pull out her icy sword out of the ground.

Sparklie stop doing back flips, looking towards Rascal, "What's the matter? Stuck?" She smirked.

Rascal growls at her then forms her sword back to her left arm, making it easy for her to herself unstuck from the ground. "...I'm just getting started... Needle Ice!" and threw a lot of long ice at Sparklie.

Sparklie starts to run really fast to get away from the ice attack by running around Rascal.

The goat keeps throwing ice at Sparklie so she could get a hit, but then Sparklie swiftly runs straight at Rascal and kicks right under Rascal's jaw, sending the goat right into the sky.

"MAAAAAAAA!!!" Rascal screamed as she flew into the sky.

Sparklie stares up at the sky where Rascal flew up to, "...Oops! I guess I got carry away..." She chuckled. "I hope she'll be okay once she falls back down... But I wonder why she tried to stop me?" Sparklie then looks straight at a building, right where Rouge and Haze are...

Few minutes earlier with Rouge and Haze, the two were in the Security Hall, listening to Shadow talking to Eggman.

Shadow spoke to Dr. Eggman, "We're in position, doctor. Tell us when."

Then Eggman answers, "There's been an unexpected delay on my and Caper's end. There's no more time to waste. Set the timer for 15 minutes! Let's go Rouge and Haze!"

Both Rouge and Haze turns off their earphones. "Five minutes should be plenty!" Rouge said with confidences.

"Are you sure, Rouge? This place is tight with security." Haze spoke.

"Of course I am! Besides you did manages to hack in to find out where the Chaos Emeralds are, right?" Rouge said.

"Well, yeah... But I still have a baaad feeling about this." Haze said with worries.

"Don't worry so much. What could go wrong?" Rouge responded.

Haze sighs, "Just about anything..." Then check in her cellphone, "...Let's see... The first two should be easy, but the last one is in a lock in room."

Rouge smiles a bit, "No problem, Haze... Just hack in to open the room. Let's go and found those emeralds!"

The two sets off to the Chaos Emeralds. Rouge found the red Chaos Emerald under a bridge-like and Haze found the cyan Chaos Emerald between the air conditioner, now all they need is to find the last emerald.

The two lands next to the metal containers. "I don't get it... The third one should be here as well!" Rouge said to Haze.

Haze was checking her cellphone, "...It is, but it's in another room from up above."

"Then let's get going! We only have a few minutes left!" Rouge exclaimed.

The two found an opening above them and flew up into another a room. They look around until they a close door that leads into another room.

Haze hacks in the security system and got the door open. They step inside and see the purple Chaos Emerald in the glass container in the middle of the room.

"Ha! The last one!" Rouge exclaimed with excitement as she run over the emerald and breaks the glass with her kicking moves and took the emerald out of there. "Finally! We've got all the three of them!"

Haze went over to Rouge, "Great! Now, let's get going before--!"

Suddenly they heard a voice from right behind them.

"Just what are you two think you're doing?!"

The two girls looks back to see none other than Sparklie, who standing a few feet away from them.

"Huh? Who are you?" Rouge asked, looking shock and confuse to see Sparklie with them.

"That's Sparklie the Tiger! She's an ally of Sonic!" Haze shouted.

Rouge looked surprise then smiles at Sparklie, "Well, well... So, you're Sparklie, huh? I heard stories about you, but I never figure you would be here as well."

Sparklie quietly humphs at her, "Look, I'm not here for chit-chat about me! Just what are you two doing with those Chaos Emeralds?!"

"That would be telling, wouldn't it?" Haze said, smirking.

All of the sudden, the alarm went off. Then a guard robot; Flying Dog, flew in.

Haze spoke with unease in her voice, "Uh... We have a slight problem, Rouge... We've got company!"

Sparklie looks back at the guard robot then groans, "Oh no..."

Rouge puts the emeralds away, "I can't believe I've come this far, just to fail!"

The Flying Dog fires missiles at the girls. The three of them dodges the missiles and tries to get away.

Rouge flew up in air, "Screw Kick!" and spins around really fast and quick at the robot. She got a hit, but it was still flying and it shoot at Rouge. The bat quickly dodges by flying away as the robot fires a missile at her. The missile nearly hits her, causing her to crash on the ground.

Haze charges after the robot from behind, "Darkness Fog!" and shoot the fog over the robot, making it stop. It was trying to see through the dark fog.

Suddenly, Sparklie does a spin ball at the robot and makes a direct hit. The tiger lands back on the ground as the fog clears up, revealing the robot still flying up, but with big dents on it.

The robot fires a powerful laser straight at Sparklie. Then suddenly, the tiger felt herself be lift up.

"Huh?!" Sparklie exclaimed then looks up to see it's Haze the Sheep who's lifting her up.

"I got ya!" Haze exclaimed.

Suddenly, the two got hit by the missiles and crashes towards the ground. Haze groans with agony on her back as the robot fires another laser at her.

"LOOK OUT!!!"

Sparklie quickly pushes Haze out of the way, but gets hit by the laser instead. Luckily, it only near her feet, but the blast pushes her away towards the wall, knocking her out cold when she crashes against the wall and collapse onto the ground.

Haze gasps with horror at what just happened to Sparklie, "Oh no!"

Rouge, who just woke up, saw the whole thing. "That's no way to treat a lady!" She exclaimed with anger then quickly flies over to attack one last time. "Screw Kick!" She spins down towards the robot, going right through the robot and finally defeating it, making the robot fall to the ground and exploded.

Suddenly, the door slams shut, locking the girls in.

"That's not good!" Haze shouted with panic in her tone.

Rouge, who's checking Sparklie to see if she's okay, spoke to Haze, "Can you hack in again and open it?"

"That's the thing... You can only open it from the outside of this room! We're stuck here until the island goes Ka-BOOM!!" Haze frantically yelled.

"What?! Quickly, call Rascal!" Rouge shouted.

Haze tries to contact her cousin, but no answer only static, "...She's not answering!"

Rouge grunted then contact Shadow, "This is Rouge. We've got a small problem... I can't believe that we're trapped inside this locked safe with the Chaos Emeralds! I guess I won't be able to call myself a Treasure Hunter anymore."

Shadow answers back, "That's yours and that sheep's problem... Get yourselves out."

Rouge and Haze gasped when Shadow said that.

Haze then shouts out loud for Shadow to hear, "Listen you cold-hearted hedgehog! You've got to help us! We're not the only one who's trap here! A tiger girl named Sparklie is here with us!"

With Shadow, he walking through the forest to find the rest, but then got contact by Rouge, telling him that she and Haze are trap inside the locked safe. At first Shadow didn't seem to care until Haze mention Sparklie is with them as well.

Shadow halted in his tracks, looking surprise, "...What? What is that tiger doing with you two?!"

"What else?! She was trying to stop us, but then the guard robot attack us and knock her out! Now save us before the bombs goes off!" Haze yelled in a panicky way.

His transmitter turns off.

Shadow wasn't sure what to do until something went on in his head. He was seeing a girl with blond hair from what happened 50 years ago then see Sparklie when they just met.

Shadow trying to think what to do then he remembers what Rascal said to him...

...Should you try to save her? ...Aren't you worry about that tiger girl? I mean, she is on this island as well...

Shadow exclaims, "Shoot! That tiger!" then runs off to where Rouge, Haze and Sparklie are to save them since he only have nine minutes left to get to them...
